My Political Rant.

1) Thanks to some idiotic REPUBLICAN old man, the idea that woman should not receive birth-control anymore. The idea is that he felt as if his tax money should not being going to birth-control for women. He said that women should just be more careful and not get pregnant. What he failed to do was research the various things that birth-control treats. It is a hormone pill. Not just a form of contraceptive, it treats a numerous amount of problems that women of all ages face. I, like many other women carry ovarian cysts and use birth-control to prevent them from growing any larger. An untreated ovarian cyst can severely damage the ovary and even cut off all circulation, therefore the ovary is dead. When this happens it makes it very difficult to carry a child. This is a common issue for many woman and taking birth-control away because you think its a waste of money is selfish and dumb.

2) What i don’t understand is how people are upset that our President is in favor of Gay Marriage. The main people who are upset about gay marriage are just too afraid to say that they just don’t like gay people. Lets face it, not being in favor of Gay Marriage is not going to stop people from being who they are. Yes, I said PEOPLE. Just because someone isn’t heterosexual doesn’t mean that they are from a different planet. So why should they be treated any differently. 

There are starving children, people without homes, jobs, food and money. And you all are worried about two happy people wanting to spend the rest of their lives together and being able to be lawfully married. 

People are so quick to try and change an issue that has no negative effects on society as a whole and them. Gay people and birth-control should be the least of anybody’s worries.
